1199 (2015) frame hole plugs...

I hope you won't mind me asking a question? I have bought 4 x frame plugs for my 2015 1199, the top two go in great but the bottom apertures are too small a diameter to receive them as there is a 'star' type ring within the hole. Am I missing something obvious or are the lower plugs meant to be smaller? Thank you in advance for any light you may shed?!

2015 Panigale R came with adjustable swing arm pivot kit

The plugs you bought will work on 1199 base and S model and all the 1299’s

They will not fit a R

I think I have the 'R'...?!!
Thank you very much for your info and help. I haven't see any plugs advertised specifically for the 'R' model so I guess I'll improvise and devise!
