How do you even take off under tail? Is it easy? Or do you have to take tail fairing off and a whole bunch of other .... first?

Pull solo cover off, pull Oem tail plate holder piece off, then pull two tail fairing painted pieces off. Old plastic piece should pull out. I helped a friend do this with a China one of these pieces.

I purchased one and it absolutely does not fit

The one I was shipped looked great. However it does not and never would fit. Not in a million years. The biggest issue is that this piece must be misformed. The tabs that are supposed to snap into the tail have no notches in them. So, even if you were able to get lined up it would just pop/fly right off. I even ground little notches in them to see if that would help. Nope. The carbon tabs are too thick to even go into the slots in the tail. It is a nightmare that cost $140 and I broke a tab off. The seller says he installed one on his buddies bike. I call BS. I asked him for more info and said he would attempt to install one his bike. That was a while ago. No word. So I slapped a duc sticker on it and hung it on my wall. Looks good.

Keypoint: Beware

False. They do fit. It takes a lot of finesse but it will absolutely go on takes some light bending and about four hands to do. And no it won't pop off. Once the painted body tail panels are reinstalled that will prevent this from coming out. The notches you speak of are unnecessary. Let's not forget most of this stuff is China made.

i had kidney surgery on march 30th by the way and have been recovering for the last 2 weeks... but go ahead and call bs if you want... ill put one on my duck as soon as i can

So what exactly are you saying? That they suck? I am assuming you put this same one on from macblastr....this exact one? I am not the most expert part installer on the planet...but I am not a complete dipshit either. No matter how you shake it...this is just pure carbon garbage. A $140 piece of garbage at that.
