I need to replace my bottom triple clamp after a crash, so I thought I'd explore aftermarket components.
My bike is a 2012 1199, and I think many racers noted that the steering offset from OEM was sub-optimal. (The stock offset of the Panigale is set at 30mm.)
I am curious what the subsequent R model had for an offset from the factory, or what offset people went to and why.
(With aftermarket triple trees, one can get inserts for the top clamp and bottom clamps, giving a range of offsets: 25 or 30mm, 26 or 29mm, and 27 or 28mm.)
