I ordered a dozen from my dealer 'cause I can't remove my fairings without losing or mangling one.

At $5.82 a piece, ouch! Pro-Bolt has them too, but I've seen a few Panigales on here with colored bolt kits, so I'm hoping they'll part with the 4-5 spare pieces that I want to keep around.

Oups!! Didn't ask the for the price:eek:

I just ordered some here in Oz. $7 bucks each........

They must be made of something pretty special

They probably have monkeys doing the parts pricing. OEM clip-on plus bar end weight is less than a hun and fairing bolts are 6 $ a pop? Go figure!

Sorry for the double post, but I lost one and my OCD is killing me and I want to replace it badly: http://ducati1199.com/classifieds/17451-1199-fairing-bolts.html#post149688

These are the 4 upper side fairing bolts that go from under the nose cone to under the tank. They also are used with plastic washers which I would also appreciate. Thanks!

just go on ebay. you can get 15 for 25 bucks with the washers. the bolts even come in different colors. i have gold match the forks if you have an s exactly. they even say 1199 panigale. you can get black and if you are ocd change them all.
i even used them as my windscreen bolts just bought some grommets. you dont need ducati to do this.

almost forgot they are BETTER QUALITY than the ducati ones

here you go you are welcome

finally at 7 bucks a bolt thats 105 bucks you can get a pro ti kit for that and have titanium bolts. if you want that message me i can hook you up

Awesome Mark. Thanks a bunch. Didn't see these on eBay before. I don't really like the lettering on the bolts but you can't beat that price.

I never get the dealer hate. I want my dealer to stay in business so I can get warranty and major service work done, and have some place to by my next bike. Doesn't mean I buy everything there but the hate is so deep with some on here...

if you have a good dealer i understand. my stealership service is the worst.

The ones on your link are not the ones that are on the upper fairing. They have a slightly smaller head diameter and do not have the shoulder. They should be these:

The dealer here in Indy has 7 of those in stock for $5.99 each. They have 1 plastic washer for a dollar.

Here are the other bolts. This one has the 4mm allen that goes to the side fairing:

Here is a picture of where I have the one on your link. It is the same as above, except it uses a 3mm allen:

The ones with the logos on EBay are the best option price and looks-wise. You just have to make sure you order and you get the correct sizes. If you order the ones from China, there is a good chance that you will get the incorrect sizes. They say fairing or front cowl, but if you look at the size, its different so it is very confusing.

Since Mark above has experience with the ones on his link, those should be ok =-)

I just ordered them online from Jarel's shop when I needed a couple. I'm happy to throw him a bone since he's such a good guy.

the gold ones would match your levers perfect as well as your ohlins forks

all the fairing bolts are 3mm to tighten and losen except the bigger ones which are 4 mm. in the link if you change colors you have to get the fairing ones not the cowl ones. they send you an extra one for the seat. i have 2 sets in case i lose some. never had a problem.

Since I've been on this forum and gotten to "know" Jarel, anytime I need to order stuff I go to Ducati Omaha. In this case, I was wanting a few replacements ASAP since I can't stand the vacant hole in the fairing - damn OCD!

I know how you feel. I suffer from it too. :(

The first time I mangled one I ordered a handful since I knew I would do it again. Those bolts are soft and shallow. Complete crap. Sheeesh, what do you expect for a measly $7. :)
