Hi All,

I am struggling detaching the left side fairing panel. In the front, the panel seems to be attached with some sort of clamp which does not come loose. I cannot see any bolts or similar I can remove from the inside either. As I am concerned damaging the fairings, anyone have any tricks on how to detach the fairing ?

the first picture of the area which is stuck. The second picture shows what I believe is the attachment of some sort of hook or similar seen from the inside. The bolt does not seem removable.

That’s a push tab. Get a small flat screwdriver and pry out the center push tab. Takes 2 seconds

So I pry it out from the inside and it will then release the fairing?

Pop up the small inner center part of the push rivet with a small screwdriver, then you can remove the entire push rivet.

The center pin will pop out, then the female circular surround will pop out, and the fairing will then be free. I do it all the time on my 1199S.
