Nope - didn't need to, just pulled the upper fairing out on the left side.

I don't know how the alignment of the nose on the fairing stay would have changed then. Can you take a pic up close that shows what you think isn't lining up?

The manual for the akra says to reference the “workshop manual” which I do not have access too.
