Hi All,
Just thought I'd share with the forum.

I just kitted out my bike with the Termignoni Full Exhaust Kit and ECU upgrade. I also wrapped the pipes to reduce the heat and it definitely decreased the heat around my legs and seat significantly. I know they will probably get dirty with time but I'm fine with it.. I rather stay cool..

I did the same with mine and actually like the look of it. I think it gives it more of a raw race look.

Did you have someone else do it or did you wrap it yourself?

I quite like heat wrap look on some bikes but this does look overly heavy. Makes me realise how good 'the exhaust that shall not be named' makes the bike look, and feel much lighter.

I totally dig that wrapped look. I'm about to pull the trigger on "the exhaust that shall not be named" and will be wrapping it myself. Shouldn't be a problem since I've done far more precise tasks in my field of work. And not for heat shielding purposes, although I hope that is a side benefit. Also, you couldn't pay me to have that hideous, affront to aesthetics that's Ducati calls a heat shield "upgrade" on my bike.

Thank goodness Voldemort and his Deatheaters got chased off, it was worse then even the movietime era. Too bad, newbies will have no idea what we went through to make this a really solid, constructive forum :D

the wrapped pipe looks trick, imo. and frosty hates everything. but bottom line, though these are the best looking bikes on the planet, they need to perform well no matter what. that's why, for instance, i have stomp grips on my beauty. they're ugly, but i have so much more control over the bike and that's worth any loss in looks.

btw, WAfatboy, that is the ugliest pipe i have ever seen on a pani. yuck! no offense...

Glad to read someone saying something positive about this great forum... :)

I like the look of the wraps and it'll probably be the same route I go down, but the heat doesn't bother me so not sure when that'll be. Aesthetics is a thing though especially with bikes and with car enthusiast.

Some bikes look ridden when they are not. Blinged out with triple digit miles. Parts catalog on 2 wheels.

The ridden bikes look like .... when compared to the bling setup. Rashy/Dirty bike scrubbed up tires.

I think I prefer the ridden camp of the spectrum. There is nothing wrong with making your bike look newer than factory and I'm sure a ton of you get great pleasure from that. But the ride the bloody thing! The fun in making her look presentable is all the nasty things you did to get her to that state. ;)

Manny great looking mod though now let's work on how that rear tire looks, it's a little shinny! :)
