I am not sure whether or not this has already been covered / answered elsewhere already, but was wondering if the Tricolore Panigale S is being discontinued for 2014?
I did a search on the Australian Ducati website and could not see the Tricolore listed amongst the other models - only the std red and stealth models were listed under the S designation.

No tri anymore 2014.

I gotta tell ya that really chapped my ass when they decided they were going to run it in 2013 also.
I mean it's not like I thought my bike was going to be a collector but they said it would only be run one year and I thought that was pretty cool.

That just wasn't right

No worries , I have some Vaseline for your chapped ass

Per my dealer they kept the Tri in production so that they had an offering for guys who wanted to spend more $$$ before the R was released. In terms of pricing it's way down for Tri's and just look at EBay for current market pricing. I'm still hunting for mine and expect to pay around $23 for a 2013 model with extras........cheers!

Thanks for the replies gents.
Just checking the local used market, and it has quite a number of 1199S bikes for sale as opposed to the other models. I guess that the up spec model was more popular from the outset.

Are you hoping the Tri will always have the $3k premium over the S???? Is that what you mean???

I would think it's stock value over the S should always be about 3k. It has the slip-ons and map, DDS system, & the Tri color fairing scheme. Just the exhaust and data package are worth almost 3k. The color scheme is only as valuable as the potential buyer's desire to have it.
