1199 : Vandemon under belly VS Akrapovic race exhaust

I sold the 1st Vandemon underbelly exhaust when it came out November 2019 to a guy in TX that has the 1199 Tricolore. His bike is actually on the Vandemon Performance website. Ducati Panigale 899,959,1199,1299 Titanium Belly Exhaust System 2011-20 Vandemon is made in Australia. There is one lucky dealer who got the name vandemonusa.com but he is a dealer just like myself and a few others. I have the Vandemon Undertail exhaust on my 1299. And I mounted the Full Six carbon fiber belly pan extension to fill the void. Since 2019 I probably sold at least 60 Vandemon exhausts. Mostly to Ducati owners, many of which are on this forum. The undertail weights only 9.8lbs and the underbelly weights 11.8lbs. Both come with a carbon heat shield. This one youtube/instagram guy named Dude_Mungus who is friends with 650ib bought his Vandemon from me. The # of followers he has tripled in the two or three months. Here is a youtube link he posted. Its the undertail exhaust but the undertail and underbelly sound similar and have the same performance. His video has a low rpm pass by, mid rpm and high rpm pass by. You wont find any negative reviews on the Vandemon. I would recommend a sprint P08 air filter and some sort of ecu flash or piggy back fuel system. If you had a 1299 then you could have had Vcyclenut flash your ecu. Or you can get the rapid bike unit or have brentuning do your ecu flash. Here is a link to a youtube video featuring the rapid bike. Go to the the 2:32 min mark so you can see what the rapid bike is all about. This unit is always tuning your bike and it learns how you ride. I had the rapid bike when I had my termii slipons. But when I read about the ecu flash that vcyclenut made for the 1299 with a vandemon undertail exhaust I switched. There are some features on the Rapid bike that I miss. Vandemon is selling the exhaust at $2744 + $125 shipping plus maybe a paypal fee at check out So the total is $2869.00 plus the fee if he is still charging it. Since youre in CA you would need to sign an emissions document in order for the exhaust to be shipped to you.

I read that also…..Vandemon only does some minor touch ups….if that is true, the chines have become incredible tig welders because the welds look incredible on their exhaust.
