1199R (2013-14) and Tuneboy

Got myself in a bit of a pickle. I have asked these questions to TuneBoy (Emma i guess feeds questions back to McD). I ask a few questions in one email and usually I get a 50% answer back with a guess. I do not want to start a another negative thread about their support. I kinda knew what I was getting into with this. And my back up plan was to return to stock.
I have a '13R. Only mods are sprint filter + R full termi system. 100% track/race bike. My reason for going tuneboy was (3) reasons

1. Help with the dip in torque down low to reduce shifting on track. 3rd gear works 80% most places YRMV.

2. AutoBlipper - reduce things to worry about during corner entry

3. Launch Control - Since this R does not have wheelie control...it is difficult (at least for me) to launch consistently.

I have installed the Tuneboy QS and it is being recognized by the trim program. I am communicating with the ecu and can load maps/trims. I have verified that the launch control function works. However I am unable most times to open the "config" options. I usually get an error screen saying "connect to motorcycle before you can do this" or something close. I have tried with (2) laptops and same result. I have upgraded the firmware of WB-01 and am currently using V6 software.

My worry is that the trim maps are v4.1 or v5. Would that affect this outcome?

Also, how long does it typically take for the trim program to get the info from the ECU? It takes terribly long and I have yet to see it finish. Which I assume maybe my problem as well.

I cannot get the QS to work on upshifts or down. I have ticked the box on the very few times I have been able to actually get into the "config" options.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have read and reread the documentation. It lacks quite a bit and is a bit outdated. But again...i kinda knew what I was getting into. I just do not want to install the OEM quickshifter to get mack to stock. Ideally I would be able to get this working and tweak the settings to my liking. Thanks again.

What version did Did you update the wb-01/OT2 to?
Are you using wifi or usb?

What O2 do you have the quick shifter plugged into?
Switch it to the other from what you were using in 4.1

Are you using wifi or usb? usb (but tried both ways with same result) manual says use usb to be safe

What O2 do you have the quick shifter plugged into? Rear as stated by manual. But when i go into trim program and select the QS verify it registers. I will try to use front O2...it sux tho cause I have extra cable length tied up on opposite side of bike and run just behind/under fuel tank @ airbox.

How long approx. in your experience does it take for the trim program to read your ECU?

Takes about 15 seconds to connect. I'm on a 1199S.
