Hey guys,

after 2 weeks of ownership and 900kms I decided to take a look at the oil level. Other then the fact it looks filthy it's low. Seeing on how I'm going to have it changed at 1000kms should I add oil?

I'm guessing oil consumption during break in is normal?

How low is it?
My advise is if it's near the bottom line put 100 ml of oil in.
It will be fine until the first oil change. It's always good to be full to the top mark.

Also the best/most consistant time to check it is first thing in the morning before it's started, so the hot oil has had a chance to fully return to the sump overnight.
And yes they can use more oil during the "initial break-in phase".
Also they can continue to use it to varying degrees afterward.
They're a machine after all. And no 2 are exactly the same or operated exactly the same.

Cheers and enjoy
