1199R Cracked Dash

Hey guys, recently purchased a 2014 1199r with a crack on the dash. My question is will a dash and ecu from a 2013 1199 work in a 2014 1199r? Does mileage stay in the dash or ecu/bbs after 2013? Very confusing issue as many parts have different part numbers between 1199 models. Also, don’t care too much about the electronic suspension or engine performance as I don’t track the bike at the moment.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hello. I have a standard 1199. Mine has the dreaded cracked dash. I bought on ebay a similar dash (same model but different release version). Plugged straight. In worked perfectly..however.....the mileage wasn’t from my bike. my bike had done 7k. But new dash advised 13k. Sadly the mileage is save in the dash.
I even took my cracked sash and the eBay replacement to a specialist to purely swop the fracked screen. They couldn’t do it due to how the screen is put together.
now living with my original cracked dash. Whice works perfectly and with the right mileage...

I would check the possibility to transfer dash data from one unit to another with a Rexxer-point. Personally I have no experience with this but remember this from my research about which ecu tuner to use years ago...

The data content of your broken Ducati dashboards has to be transferred to a replacement dashboard? No problem!
