Hey guys,
I am in the process of swapping my 899 with an 1199 s engine (2014). I managed to get the BBS, Dash and Regulator from that same 1199s engine but I am missing the ECU.
Noob question: Can I somehow use the 899 ECU (2015) and flash it to an 1199 with the Melcodiag?
If I need to purchase an 1199 s 2014 ECU, how do I go about to find the correct one? The parts manual says it's a 28642211C but what ebay sellers show parts # that are different like 28642071B and J011000204 for the same bike.
How to be sure it's going to be plug and play?
ps: Do I need an ignition from an 1199s as well?
