So not sure where to go from here. Over the last year my front brake is soft on the first full and then hardens up on the second pull. Now before you say there's air in the line just bleed the breaks, Just know ive done that 3 times. What i cant figure out is if its a bad master cylinder, banjo bolt or line. Has anyone else had the same issue? This happened not to long after my 5k service. The clutch was also soft and bleading it did fix the issue. But no one wants and soft front brake lol.

Some have suggested taking the bleed screw out and wrapping the threads with Teflon tape. I haven’t tried it but for a $0.50 fix it is worth a shot.

Sounds like warped or loose rotors are pushing the brake pistons back into the calipers as you ride so that the first lever pull has to first move the brake pads a distance back into position against the rotors and the second pull only has to apply pressure to the pads that are already in position. Ride some more and the pads are pushed back again.

Did you bleed it at the calipers, first LH then RH then master by vacuum pump, Dot4 fluid?

Lost of places for air to get trapped in an ABS system

I only did it from the master think air will travel up hill unless caught in a corners. I'll give it a try at the cals.

I had this problem too…I have replaced my master cylinder, lines( still have ABS), and calipers. The problem is gone now. I would say a new MC would be your best bet

Get rid of the abs lines and run new lines to the front and back.
We have enough gravel roads around here I'd prefer to keep it. I don't want a full locked front wheel.

My wife's Grom started doing this after she had a small low-side (after hitting a curb) during her first week of learning to ride. I replaced the lines with SS and bled it several times. I have not yet checked the rotor or master. I'm sure it is one of the two (rotor got slightly hit, so maybe that).
