Hey, new here to the forum and looking for some guidance on the value for a 1299 Anniversario, what is one worth?

$40-50k at least depending on mileage and condition. Only 500 were made and only 200 of those to the U.S. Collectors item. Everyone on the board wishes they had one but they don't so they start fighting over the other ultra rare special editions.

Lol what he really means is half of that, MAX....especially since you can get one with just over 100 miles on it for 25k. There's no such thing as collectors item in modern Ducati brand.

Agreed. It’s a stock 1299s with a pipe, paint job, some EVO woohoo and a plaque. I’d go stock 1299s with comparable mileage plus a pipe and base it from there. 1299 FE, GO 1299 Anniversario, NO.

Gotcha. There is one that is #002, good condition and has just under 2800 miles. Has the Akro full system, tail tidy, turn signal mirror block offs, bar ends, etc.
Would it be worth more than 25k?

It’s worth what you’re willing to pay for it just understand what you are getting in terms of value. Look at the differences between the Anni, and the 1299s and determine if those differences are worth the extra cost to you or not. For 99% of riders there will be zero performance difference between the Anni, and the 1299s. Personally, I would place next to zero value on the verbiage “Limited or Special etc”

Yeah these numbered Anni bikes #002 to whatever its meaningless not worth a extra penny. Buy a 1299 base if you can find they are now more value then a S cause the S will set you back with building the bike correctly to what it should be. Find a base 1299 with low miles and less then $12k now you got something to work from.

I thought they were worth way more, but way less than the FE, I hear the FE is worth 1.2 mil

Yeah seems like there’s a bit of conflicting view points and it really comes down to what the person thinks it’s worth to them and willing to pay.

Absolutely. Also comes down to personal abilities and resourcefulness. Let’s use RyFly05’s input and Mick1976. At one end you have one guy saying 40-50k. The other end is a base model at 12k. Let’s go low end on the first input at 40k. Anni, and the 12k base 1299. Same motor, frame, swing arm, body, electronics (sans the EVO) and most all other parts. That leaves 24k to play with. FGR forks, mag wheels, ttx, MS calipers, rear sets, akra ext. about 15k and you take 9k to the bank and you have better components than the Anni. I’d buy the base all day long. If the Anni is 25k and the S is say 15, you have 10k to play with. Here again, I’ll take the S all day and spend the 10k on what I want vs what it has which may not be what I want. As far as the paint job, wrap it.
