1299 DDA GPS module on V4

Has anyone tried to see if the 1299 DDA GPS module would work on the V4S. I tried mine and I do not get a GPs symbol on the dash. I assume the DDA dongle will not work.

I tried sticking a fork in a 240v socket once....... that didn't work either

I asked my dealer the same question. They appear to be the same.

From what I remember they aren't interchangeable between the 1199 and 1299 so I'd be surprised if it works on the V4. Might be wrong though.
