Dyno curve red line with exhaust mod and rapid bike evo.

Red line is the curve with full akrapovic and the Ducati performance map

With a little customisation my set up produced same power at the wheel as the akra only a little down 7-10k rpm and a much better af ratio. My bike still 600 miles so more to come.

This dyno reads a s1000rr bmw with full superstock spec, well set up at 185 rwhp so this dyno reads a little on the low side.

Cheers. I will post a clip as soon as possible. [emoji106]
Sounds really good , a lot louder than stock but not offensive.

Hi, did you land up getting the bike on a Dyno? I'm planning on doing exactly this on my 899, with a 1299 exhaust.

Yes I did. Results were impressive. Fuelling was really good with a good air fuel ratio across the rev range , producing very little difference,(2bhp) less peak than full akra system set up on the same dyno and only a couple down in a superstock spec s1000rr

So results were good. My bike dues have a rapid bike module and bmc air filter.
In the tuners estimation in comparison a full akra would be a waste of money( they do look good tho [emoji106])

Thank you so much for your reply. I'll definitely go in this direction as well. Any chance you could share some more pics of the internals?

Alternate arrangement?

Hi, I'm curious, as to why you went in for the welded "U" type arrangement, instead of just running two straight pipes through to the two holes right next to it. Was it because of the diameter of the pipes?

Basically to lengthen the available pipe and provide a continual 'loop' of exhaust for improved flow/ evacuation of exhaust gas

Hey Phl, but did you do the muffler the way johnnyflies did it? Or did you just remove everything and reweld it back?

[email protected]

not the way he does. and also not removing everything. Catalytic converters go, internal piping is changed and Db-eaters are eliminated. Email is on its way.
