1299 headlight holder

I was thinking about getting the carbon headlight holder. just a question to those that knows. should I just assume replacing this is more for looks then
saving any weight?

Do you mean the front part of the bike thag holds the headlights, windscreen,dash ?
 
You'll save a little, but your wallet will definitely be lighter.
