1299 IMU Mount for Track Bodywork

So the stock mount is totally different on the base model, but it may mount right up once all the headlight and existing bracket are gone. You'll need to go order the studs for the "S" bike or make something out of the right combination of nuts and bolts.

Tcelano: What is Blue Guy talking about when we remove the kick stand? Did you have this problem? I simply use a PitBull stand on the swingarm to hold up the bike. When I remove the kickstand for the track, is this going to throw the IMU off? I bought a little closed loop plug for the wiring on removal of the kickstand but is there something else I should be aware of? I haven't removed the kickstand yet but any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The system is geared up to reset using the standard sidestand with the bike resting on it. If you try any other way of holding the bike up, it won't identify the base setup and you'll have a hard time getting the IMU to correct the bikes position or any changes made. It's all in the owners manual, and anyone who has done the dealer training should be able to confirm this.

All,

IMU brackets are complete, back from anodizing, and ready to ship. Prototype has been tested on my 1299S.

I cannot confirm 100% that the Panigale R is exactly the same, but I do not have any reason to believe that it would be any different.

If you've already paid me, yours will ship out tomorrow. It will come with the screws needed to attach the standoff posts that you will remove from the headlight assembly.

Anyone who wants one, paypal me $25 to [email protected]. If you are in Sweeden (or anywhere else) figure out what a basic envelope rate would be to your place from Oregon, USA, and add it to the price, and I'll get you one.

I made 50 to sell in the first batch. A few are spoken for at the local shop. I'll make more if they start to sell out. I don't know what the production track bodywork manufacturers are going to do yet, so either they will contact me and want them, or I'll be out of this business. Small parts are not exactly a money-maker, but I needed one for mine.

i will buy one.

Does anyone know if this will work with armor bodies

So has no one really solved this issue and are we talking about the 'tire set-up' calibration? Will this TSU fix the IMU relocation like on the DBHOLDER stay i.e. front frame? I will be testing this tomorrow to see if the DBHolder IMU bracket will work with the 'tire set-up calibration. If this is the case then I will inform yous all on success/failure. Stay tuned in.
