Oops, need to update that... Sold the Ferrari and Turbo, and opted to not take delivery on the Z06. Yes, the Tesla is THAT good. Also waiting on a Boxster GTS as a toy vehicle. And something stupid, stupid exotic late next year - something out of Sweden :~)>

A Koenigsegg perhaps?? If so, nice choice.

That is the same price the Msrp is listed at before tax and fees. Sounds like a smoking deal! Did they give you any indication on what an S would go for?

They waived the setup, freight and fees if you preordered. So the MSRP was what you would have paid for an S as well.

$19295.00(Base) OTD.
For reals.

so I'm confused which one of these is true: you don't pay sales taxes , they waive it, or you're not including it in the final price otd.

maybe otd shouldn't include sales taxes since we pay varying taxes (Im at 7%)

$25345 OTD for S. Got mine in Charlotte, NC and no pre order. Basically just retail plus sales tax and DMV fees. I think I got a pretty good deal especially since it was the dealerships very first and only 1299 so far.

If it's Motorcycles of Charlotte they quoted me a little over $27k OTD for your bike - are you counting tax and all fees, retail is $24.9

Yep. I wanted to see the bike so they called me when they had one in. Got the call on Saturday as they were taking it out of the crate. I showed up on Tues and said I willing to pay retail plus government fees (I live is SC and transferring a tag, so $300 sales tax, $45 DMV fees). They said sure. No negotiation or anything, I was surprised the took the deal so quickly. He said the sales manager head honcho guy was not there and that he would probably be in trouble for doing the deal so low. I also rounded the 24995 up to 25k. So I literally paid 25k for bike plus 345. I put down $2500 and financed 22,845 out the door. I think I did pretty well.

Wait, "retail" as in MSRP? That's a deal that would get someone in trouble for being "too low"?

There's no way I'd pay over MSRP for one. That's the starting price for negotiation, the price should only go down from there. This isn't some rare limited edition that's going to go up in value.

Yeah MSRP. They usually charge a bunch of extra fees. Doc, shipping, prep and crap like that. This equated to about 1400 in fees (thats above what I said I'd pay them). I think they still technically charged me all the fees, but they discounted the bike to match what I was willing to pay. I've tried to buy several bikes from them before but they don't ever want to budge on price or fees, so I know that the deal I got was pretty good, especially since this is a new model and the first one they got in.
