No problems!I know how it feels when you anticipating new Motorcycle it's the best part of owning a motorcycle , when you show up to your dealer to get it, it's a special moment .you will be happy with this peace of art, it's not like your s1000rr was a pushover you might appreciate it even more:cool: but a I'm sure you not going to be disappointed. i had my S1000RR set up as perfect as it could be, I had a really good flash tune and the full Akrapovic system and was t 184.6 RWHP... My real issues with the S1000 were the stock suspension at the track was just not up to par once I got to a certain lap time and the bike was heavy and the front didn't want to turn as sharp as I needed it to.

I am hoping that the 1299 solves all those problems and is in the ballpark power wise.

Are you sticking to the 6,000 rpm limit, or are you using full revs yet?

It feels lighter, it also feels more stable, it doesn't have a head shake like I have on my s1000rr, it feels like you riding IN the bike vs on the bike like S1000r so there is your improvements right there. I am sure there will be a lot of suspention udjustments to improve handling but for now

I am more concern learning this bike and breaking in properly than anything else, loading the motor as much as posible going up and down the gear box and not to keep in the same rpms, I ride hard all the way up but I don't bounce off the rev limiter.

picking mine up saturday!

which fender eliminator os that? does the Comp Werkes for the 1199 fit right out of the box?!

I am half tempted to bite one the NRC kit; really cleans up the tail. I'm wondering if they have numerous ready for shipment or do they just have the prototype?
