1299 radiator guard/protector

I just talked to Andrew Cox and the lower radiator guard design has been changed so there is NO trimming required like the original product. He hasn't got his hands on a 1299 yet to verfy if the 1199 guards will fit the 1299 but he thinks they will. I'll report back when I get more info and confirmation. Like I said above, best guards and customer service hands down.

I fitted a genuine Ducati part fitted at ZAR 1189.00 inc tax
Fits right looks good and does the job, at that price (devide by 15 for US Dollar) why bother to shop around?
Question is why were they not fitted as standard on road bikes, it was just annoying waiting for parts and dealer fit, and I could have fukkeddddup my Rad.

Have you had any cooling issues with a guard fitted?
I have evotech guards on mine and found the temp staying around 98-100C when really pushed on track, even at speed when I would expect airflow to cool the motor better?
I'm going to remove the upper guard when I'm next on track to see if it helps.

I havent, but we arent in the real heat of summer yet. Cycle Jam at Road Atlanta in July will be the true test.
