Gentleman, I have been riding my 1299S in the summer heat of the UAE since May 2015. I have Completed over 2600kms and the 1st service was completed at 1000kms. I yesterday found that my clutch had more less stopped working, very little bite, and could not get neutral unless I turned the bike off...... I know there were clutch issues with the 1199 and would appreciate your comments on a solution

Tried bleeding it, fluid level check etc? Or maybe over-adjusted lever? They're the first, most obvious things I would check.

I had the same issue on my 1199 right after the 1st service. The clutch lever became really soft to the pull and I had difficulty downshifting to the lower gears, especially neutral.

It turned out that there was an air bubble and with the advice here, I just cracked the zerk fitting on the master cylinder less than a quarter turn and then I heard an air pop. I pulled in the lever and closed it. It built up pressure back and haven't had an issue since.

5300kilometers now. Clutch went a bit soft and finding neutral became more difficult. It took whole 3 minutes to fix. First 2,5 searching 11mm spanner and clear hose then 0,5minutes bleedind master. And it was as new again. Added 5ml brake fluid after that.
