looking at used(500 miles) 1299. any thing to be aware of, or go for the v4. just got a gsxr1000 but got the duck bug.

If you like raw power and a bonkers midrange, 1299. If you don’t, V4.

Not sure if ill ever give up my 1299 or 1199, they literally pull like freight trains

I’d go with the new V4s. Last year for 1299 isn’t bad though. You have to ride the 1299S or it will ride you. I have heard the V4 is much more rider friendly. Good luck.

There is no relaxing riding the 1299S, it hates traffic and you have to muscle it around the twisties. But when you get it right and push it hard, it’s rewarding. It’s a much more raw experience than the V4.

well i got a 21 V4 and put about 150 miles on today. pretty damn fine. glad to be back in the Italian family. been since my 2005 999S(black). wish i would of kept it.
the guy with the 1299 would never respond back much so i found the V4.
