went yesterday, just to check it out, it's quite a rush standing at the start line, seeing the lights go down. was pretty cautious, relatively new bike. 1st run was vs. a sportster with slick and wheeliebar , didn't run to max. rpm. (might post the video later)

second against a 2009 zx10r, was pretty close...

i think i'll go again next week, just for the fun of it, and it's only 7 bucks

Slight highjack here, sorry.

I only have the manual not the bike yet, but is not that orange square the side stand down sign? I have seen it on a couple of bikes on here.

Kewl vid.

Next time we expect you to thump the Kawi.

Hey you broke a 100mph on an 1/8th.:)

Ill tell you trick, I do a bit of drag racing. It should be a half second tree, so when you see the third yellow light, start rolling off the clutch and try not to roll to heavy on it either, but dont drop it either that could be bad if you have your traction control off. You'll get far better times. Also, after you do launch all you have to do is watch your tac and wait til your red shift lights hit, I usually do it at the first set I shift, that way you know you are getting maximum power. It def takes practice and if you're doing it right you're front wheel will never really touch the ground on this bike, it'll just float. If you time your light right, and you get your revs right you'll get maximum possible power!

That's the ABS telling you it's front wheel only since he had it in race mode.

thanks, i'll try out!

anyone have updates on their best times in the 1/8? I may be hitting my local 1/8 this weekend (sunday). last time I was there I think I ran about a 6.3 second in the 1/8. soooo hard to keep the wheel down and not short shift too soon. I know this isn't what the bike is made for, nor is it nearly as skillful as the track...but I have a few BMW's calling me out on a Jacksonville group ride on FB and im about to go wax em...

haven't been in a while, don't want to crucify the clutch for straight line action...

i think the last time i went i managed a 6.8 or so...

my poor clutch...lol. I don't do a bunch of dig races for that reason alone lol. but one-two good go's every month or so is ok I suppose.
