For Sale 2012 LED Headlight Assembly & Tail lights

Dishonest Guy. Rip-off

I bought the lights from this guy to keep my mirrors off.

The lights came and they looked like this:







I talked to him about it and he said they are mint and they are better than stock:



Just so you know how mint lights look like:



So, OK, big deal. They are hidden anyway.

I proceed and remove my headlights and install them. I get to the connectors and lo and behold, they are both female:



So, again, OK, I will splice them onto the wires. Checked with him on the polarities, which coincided with what I found out when I traced the wires, green LED are positive.

The lights do not work.

So now I have POS workmanship LED headlights and LED blinkers that are dead, and this guy tells me that they are as advertised and I am being hopeless and I am stupid for messing up the wiring.



Another thing that I noticed when I had the lights was the temp probe was broken and the parts of the intake are broken also.





So clearly these are not clean take-offs. He claims that he tested them. All mirrors I saw on EBay have male connectors. I do not know why these came with female.

In a community that we help each other out and save a bit of money to buy more stuff, we come across guys like this.

This headlight has LED turn signals mounted on the inside. The headlight was opened and LED's were placed inside. The wiring has the stock connectors. The mod is handy for a replacement signals location for bikes without mirrors. Check out the video. www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9M7o6IM40o

Yeah get your money back what a rip. Unfit. there are people like this out there.

Maybe it broke when he hit the deer the month before, he replaced it, and this was left over.

Ya. He just denied Paypal's request for a refund. Funny how it works that way.

He said the LED worked, nothing about the signals - certainly no "as is" comments. I swear it was because he hit with a deer, replaced it with new, thought he could sell the damaged one.

That's brutal. He's still creeping in here, last shown he was on today at 9:37am. Make it right carbon. Don't hide.

He's here now, I hope he straightens this out.

Oh so they were mint before they were sent to me? They disintegrated and opened and reglued themselves with silicone instead of the proper sealant that should be used?

They were tested also? With a bike with backward connectors? They switched connectors while in transit?

I have been nice and professional with you. Your signals do not work. I installed them the weekend after I received them. I have dealt with a lot of members here, and have not misled anyone.

I have installed a lot of things in the bike. I am very capable of splicing wires. I could have dealt with the glueing but the signals being dead is just too much.
