Hey guys, I'm transitioning into the film biz from SF to LA on the 10th of Feb. Looking to start hanging out with some local riders. I need to get a feeling of riding in LA. How the cops are, drivers if they are insane. I'm used to ...... roads in SF with tons of hills and bad drivers, so I'm always on my toes. hehe.

You're leaving for the dark side now?!?!?!?!?

We may need to meet up at Alice's before you move down south.

I'll be back and forth from LA to SF in the next month. Drivers here aren't much different than the Bay Area. The only real difference between riding there and here is the amount of lane-splitting you'll be doing.

Ah, I love me some lane splitting. I havent actually gotten the chance to really take the panigale out. I've had some medical issues since I bought it. But now, im ready to start to let her loose. I'll be moving Downtown LA 90012

Yeah, we have a lot of film tax breaks here, when you move to LA"¦.

Oh, wait you meant Los Angeles"¦.Damm, I was using the abbreviations the rest of the world uses"¦ Not the microcosm of specialness Kalifornia.

wink wink.

NOLA

I'll prolly end up working there eventually. Would love to see your bike NOLA

Plenty of ducs and plenty of riders here. Im sure we can coordinate something.near the film capitol of the world.

Angeles Crest, try to do your riding during the week, Newcombs Ranch to Wrightwood is the ..... You can kill a set of tires on that stretch once you know the road. Pro Italia is in Montrose so you will be sure to bump into fellow Ducati fanatics. The Rock Store just isn't what it used to be, big crowds, lots of you tube videos being shot on old mullholland highway above the rock store, but the whole area is housed over with tons of traffic.
Little Tujunga Canyon is great takes you over through Sand Canyon and Acton. These are roads you can get stupid on, and have a real good chance of not seeing any cops.

I am in West LA. There's also a cool DOC here. I'll introduce you to the president if you're interested. Welcome to LA

Was up Angeles Crest yesterday. There's is a 2 to 1 biker to cop ratio, on the Wednesday, wtf. Cop trailed me for a few miles, needless to say, I was shitting bricks.
