2013 Panigale base ABS - DQS Quetion

Hello guys,

Quick question. Is the DQS in the '13 Panigale 1199 base only for UpShifting or it also works for DownShifting? I am almost sure its only for UP but I dowshifted today without pulling the clutch lever to give it a try and it worked but I wanna be 100% sure I am not gonna screw up my bike. The upshifting works so amazing though!

Only works for up shifting..

You can downshift without pullin the clutch lever but it does not work like it does on the 1299. It's harsh and probably causing premature wear on clutch.

If you release your throttle and shift while giving it a blip you can do clutchless down shifting without damage.

Yup! When I'm lazy I do just that. If executed properly, no problem at all!
