Yeah.... save your money.

I'm a fan of all the Ducati apparel pre 2013 era (made by Dainese).
These 2014 gloves just feel and look like ....! The red is not red at all, but orange so in no way will it look good with the red Pani, or any real red jacket. They've got a bright neon greenish/yellow outline around the faces of the fingers that looks god awful.

All in all these gloves will be going back to ProItalia ASAP! they msrp at $360, I picked them up for $307 on sale from them and am quite disappointed.

Just wanted to share my thoughts... My 2012 gloves will be taken off ebay in a few minutes as I absolutely will use old stained gloves vs these hideous things.

But- did anyone notice that 2012 MY Ducati apparel was the last year of quality? The 2013 Corse jacket was outright .... compared to the 2012 as well as their assorted Leather jackets.... Thoughts?

(No, this isn't a thread picking on Ducati so don't get mad at me ;) )

As you've gone on record telling everyone how and why you are getting rid of your bike, why are you still buying branded clothing?

I think its time you read up on current events 'ol chap.

But your opinion isn't even needed any further :D

Speaking of quality dainese Santa Monica jacket is one of the best jackets ever ! Everything pre 2012 is sick

I love my Alpinestars GP Pro gloves, $170 shipped from Riders Discount with the racer discount, cant beat that.

White13Pani, Man, sorry to hear the 2014 Ducati Corse gloves are not working out for you.

You asked for opinions.

While I do not have the Ducati branded 2014 Corse gloves, I do have the 2014 Dainese Full Metal RS Gloves (picture attached) which I purchased from Dainese SF Store on initial release. I do understand that they are the same type of gloves minus Ducati branding.

I have riden a fair bit with these gloves along with the Dainese jacket, etc. The armor in the jacket extends into the gloves so they fit nice and tight with plenty of flex room. The first thing I noticed was a lack of wrist ache. After riding the 1199 for 30 mins my wrists started really aching, at first I put this down to riding posture and vibration. The gloves + jacket really helped reduce this aching a lot. Once the gloves are broken in they have considerable support as vibrations are also reduced. Another pretty positive aspect is the amount of adjustability in the glove itself (straps, etc).

The only minus I would give these gloves is the stitching tends to fluff a bit with time ( yeah - the yellow stitching ???).

Looks wise the gloves are the business and I love the titanium and carbon.

Cost, expense, etc are all relative. I am very happy with the gloves.

Trust this helps.

EDIT : I am color blind and in the red/orange spectrum ( I know bummer).

Correct the red won't match your Panigale....... But it will match somebody elses Superleggera (Or Desmo)!!

Man. I got a pair as a christmas gift from the wife and I have to say I thought they were nice. The red looked fine to me, but I have terrible eye sight being a commercial pilot so I never believe what I see anyway ;)

i have had a very similar experience with Dainese purchases recently with both the seems on a jacket and leather pants starting to split, I think (but unsure) that they have changed their manufacturer and the thread they are using is not up to scratch.

The place i purchases from offered to take them back and get Dainese to restitch but for me it was easier to just drop them into a local alteration place and get them to do the work.

Not an ideal situation but i have had zero other issues and i'm still a big fan of the brand.

Thanks for the review and heads-up.

Personally, I find that most Ducati apparel is typically mid-line product from the OEM manufacturer (AGV, Dainese, Puma). If you're looking for the best product feature- and cost-wise, it's probably best to go to those manufacturers directly (like what CaliDuc describes with his top-of-the-line Dainese gloves).

Regarding gloves (and riding gear in general), I've had a fetish and have tried everything. The best I've found are Held Titans and Heroic SPR-Pros. I'd go with those if they fit your hand well, especially in the price range you're spending. Always been a bit disappointed in Dainese gloves, they don't seem to match their jackets/suits quality or protectiveness.

I personally recommend Racer brand gloves. They actually hold up well in a crash. A*'s fall apart as soon as you crash once.

Hi,
I recently purchased the "Ducati Corse 14 Gloves" (titanium knuckles) through my local Dealer. My gloves don't share the same issue you are having with your gloves. The red matches my Ducati leather jacket and my gloves don't have the greenish/yellow outline you mentioned, unless you are referring to the Dupont Kevlar fiber stitching. Could you gloves be counterfeit? Here is a link to a pic on Pure-Ducati website: Ducati Corse 14 Gloves 98102190

I know this is a little off topic.
It dawned on my last week to apply my Interior Helmet foam cleaner to the inside of my 2 year old Ducati Corse leather jacket with the 3D bubble-liner. Why this idea popped into my head after 2 years is beyond me. What a great difference. The interior of the jacket smells fresh as daisies. No, it didn't smell like B.O. prior, it just didn't smell fresh. Seriously my 2 year old Ducati Corse Jacket after using the Leather cleaner and conditioner along with cleaning the interior looks as new as the day I bought it only better since it is broken in soft.

Have no issues with Dainese leather jackets/pants (in fact just got a new C2 Perf Leather jacket today).
But for gloves, I don't trust anything on my hands except Held. I have several pairs (bought new in 1995 and 2000) that I used for racing. Crashed multiple times with them and have never had a failure with either pair
If I was looking for a new pair, I'd probably go with their Phantom rather than the Titan as I'm not a fan of having the pinky finger bound to the ring finger.
