I Plan on hitting COTA next spring and was wondering which way to go as far as tickets are concerned.

The general admission area seems to cover a lot of the circuit and allows moving around.

Would any of you guys who have attended in the past please give me advice on how to go about this.

Are the Ducati packages any good and when do they come out?

Thanks in advance

This past year, the Ducati grandstand package included one hot lap on your Ducati. That alone I think is worth the admission.

Yea, I totally agree... Buy the Ducati package.. The turn 15 grandstand...where the Ducati section is located... is the absolute best place to watch the racing regardless of the price. It includes "Ducati only" motorcycle parking and storage of all your gear literally 100 yards from your seats.

The hot lap is a great perk... It is a bit sketchy with everyone blasting around with various degrees of skill. Some are flat hauling ... where others are just putting around. I am shocked they allow that to happen honestly.

I did general admission and it was pretty good, but will probably do Ducati Grandstand package next year. If you do general admission, make sure to get parking passes as well. Otherwise, it is kind of a pain in the .... Also, get the tickets mailed in advance. The will call booth is about 500 miles from the parking area. Have fun!

Yea, I can't find the tickets on their site... Can't believe they already sold out?

I looked at several places and no luck

From the seating diagram, it looks as though the Ducati section is smaller than last year at COTA... they may not have adjusted the size of the section to sell them all. Last year, they never sold out....(From what I remember?)

There not even out yet, or so I think. Went on their site and it was still rigged for 2013.

Thanks anyways.

Think I'll be doing turn 15, sure looks like "da s&*!t".

15 is good. Me and my buddy moved between turn 2 and 10. Good action and you could see everyone flying down the back straight.

My wife and I went last year and sat in the Ducati Grandstand seats. The purchase also came with a voucher for a commemorative Ducati MotoGP t-shirt and lanyard to hold your ticket. The seats were in a great location. If you are driving there you be sure to pre-purchase the parking pass. The track is huge so be prepared to do a lot of walking. Attached are a couple of pics of the view from my seat in the Ducati Grandstand. Probably the best vantage point to see the most turns from one seat.

Funny.... I found myself scanning that last pic looking for the back of my head.... think my seats were a bit to the right though. BTW.. is it just me or was that t shirt the gave out the lowest quality shirt available? it was horrible.

Yes it is a cheap t-shirt but hell it's free and wasn't expected anyways.
