2014 Panigale 'R' price increased

The R comes with pretty much all the carbon which are as accessories for the base, S and Tri except..

DP front sprocket cover
DP generator case cover

There is no change in the carbon between a 2013 R and a 2014 R.. its the same

Fml...

It amazes me they would do that considering nothing has changed. Most price hikes are typically a couple hundred and inflation/manufacturing costs haven't risen $1000. It also appears they are pushing the S more considering only a $500 increase to the base/R's $1000.

When I was in India the 848 EVO was $36k USD.

I hate to say this even though I am Indian..

Everything that is foreign is way overpriced due to the import duty and inflation and with the average income that people make, I honestly don't know how they can sell Ducatis there. The roads aren't great (am being very modest) and the traffic sense is out of the park (I don't even know where to start).. its just a wrong bike in a wrong place...

Price

you guys are still lucky it is $45000 in Australia :(

Yep - I paid 46 on road for the 2014R Delivery December - you guys have it made!!! Wish ours was that cheap - I would be getting all the extras then heh

But on the Base and the S abs is now standard...so its really no increase at all....Right??

probably more because of inflations....US economy sucks!!

Euro/USD exchange rate, USD value if falling and the Euro going up.
Right now it's 1.35USD for 1 Euro, last year around this time it was in the low to mid 1.20's where a $ 30k bike was Euro 22000 and with today's rate is Euro 25000.

I feels sorry for our Ozzy fellows that pay + $ 45K, not to mention the the fellow Ducati riders in S. America and the Pacific region that pay triple then what the bikes cost in the USA.

An 1199 r in singapore cost u sgd 70,000 . Which is almost 56,000 usd
