Yeah, as I was looking at the 1299, the overall aesthetics and build quality of the mirror were significantly better IMHO. I know, they are just mirrors, but I like the new and improved solid mount with the space for airflow.

"Improved solid mount" = no swivel? I like the mirrors but no ability to fold them means it wouldn't fit in to my "garage" (i.e. basement).

After seeing it twice in person. It is a sexy machine. Everything looks really good on it.
