I've got a mate that rides pretty good that runs them on his 1290 superduke and loves them, good miles too. However he did put different tyres on when he went to the track...

Thanks Bud. They will only be for the streets as on the track I will either be on SC's or Slicks. Im the guinea pig.

The Q3's are the best bang-for-the-buck tire on the planet. They are capable of handling an Advanced track day pace, but are also good on the street and even in the wet.
Because they are a street tire, they have a high silica content to heat up fast (warmers aren't necessary) and they aren't affected by heat cycles. But they are based on the GPA race tires and work fine on the track.
If somebody is running a race pace, they will overheat and get greasy after a while. But short of that, they are fine.
