I am toying with the idea of selling my 1299SL which only has 260 miles on it. Bike is mint with some additional nice parts like BSD switches, new SC2 Pirelli slicks, Ducati Performance adjustable rearsets and Brembo T-drive rotors and GP4-MS calipers.

Anyone interested? Will provide pics but I'm not letting it go for less than 75K and it is like showroom new.

LMK...

Sounds like an amazing bike and love to see pics however it's out of my price range... Good luck with sale!

@T-bone thx for the helpful comment on my post about selling a bike 👍
To set the record straight, the SL is actually something like 80 lbs lighter with more torque and a better power to weight ratio, similar electronics to the 2019 V4R and a new V4R will cost about 60K with exhaust, which the SL comes with, so the difference is 15K. Also, the V4R is a great bike but nowhere near as special as a 1299 Superleggera.

Save $30 grand and buy a 2023 v4r. Faster bike with better upgrades and a 2 year warranty.

lol, then you have a garden variety v4r that anyone could buy and dont forget the special oil.

RRX, I would love to buy your SL but I cant justify owning one as it would need to be displayed, its arguably the pinnacle of development that started in Imola in '73. They are never going to make a big twin as refined, beautiful and with so much character again. As much as I enjoy my V4, the 1299 was much more involving and fun to ride.

My comment made was about buying a bike, not selling one.

There is an extremely niche group that could afford your SL. Fantastic bike but a $45k v4r will put it through its paces. Just offered up an option for the member that liked yours but couldn’t afford it.

Pretty sure SV was complimenting the bike, not asking for purchase advice. Plenty of people can afford an SL, and the asking price is fair, even I could cough up 75k but collecting bikes isnt my thing.

No worries @T-bone FWIW, the SL is a faster lap given its tremendous performance on the brakes and its lightweight and torque advantage off the corner. I have a V4R as well and its also awesome just not as much but truth be told I don't ride the SL very much due to its price and having other bikes
I can ride.

Watching some of these video reviews and its hard for me to want to sell it tbh...

gosh, i could never keep the miles off it myself...i'm doing almost 10k a year currently....god i'd drive the piss out of this thing...

GLWS, and such a beautiful machine mate

I built myself something of a knock-off SL last year. For my riding abilities (fast B/slow A) it gets the job done. If I could afford that SL and had the garage space, I'd be all over it.

Good luck with the sale and beautiful photos.

Cheers!

I’m thinking of getting that exhaust. How do you like it?
