George may have turned a corner. Last rider to podium on a Duc at Jerez was Hayden. He could do well in the Euro rounds....glad to see it!


Loving Zarco so far.

Mark will love that result from Rossi lol
 
This is great to see. I've had a lot of doubts about Lorenzo on the Ducati but hopefully he's turned the corner.
 
Congrats to JL, but as much I'm happy to see him on the podium, I think he might have got lucky in this race. Crutchlow crashed, the two Yamaha's had setup/tyre issues plus he chose the 2 medium tyres while many of the others in the field had at least one hard tyre. Imo, the next couple rounds should give us an idea on Lorenzo and the Ducati combo, assuming he doesn't make any mistakes.
As for Dani.... class act, he's always been very efficient with his tyres but didn't know he was that good! I was sure Marquez would catch him, but damn, good to see the old relentless Pedrosa back, not gonna rule him out this year thats for sure!

Next few rounds can't come soon enough! :D

Very good point about JLo.

And yeah, I love Pedro in top form. The guy deserves a title so bad. He seems to always have moments of brilliance but can't put together a whole season. Who knows...the title is still very much up for grabs.
 
Did you guys here the announcers drooling over rossi that he is still leading the championship. It was pathetic when jlo did what he did on the Ducati.
Before the press conference listen to tech 3 boss zarco must have got his ass handed to him for racing rossi. It was said in the race Folger better be careful or he may get his contract torn up.
Mcobra rossi was the lucky one with all the crashes not Lorenzo. He would have come in like 15th.
Finally the top four are 10 points away from each other and rossi didn't crash. So the other 3 have spotted him 25 points and he did 0 with it. Still no wins on the season . ....... joke zarco would be doing better on factory Yamaha than rossi guy has to go.

The announcers were once again On the fact zarco isn't racing for a title. I don't get it so you're not suppose to race hard? Why have anybody race except the factory Yamaha and Honda. They are the only ones that can win the title. The announcers have to go along with rossi

Actually I do get it and it's very sad.
MM will win the title

I love the press conference after the race. Who is the threat from Yamaha dani tried to be diplomatic. Marquez said vinalez is the only threat hahaha

Agreed about Rossi being lucky in a whole, but the previous posts here were about JL's podium finish and I was just expanding on that.
His interview on crash.net about early doubters having to eat their own words, might bite him back if he doesn't perform in the next few races. Fingers crossed he didn't just get lucky.
 
Agreed also Lorenzo has been pretty funny the entire weekend. It would be nice to see another rider with a shot at bictory I mean victory. I wonder who will win a race first Lorenzo or rossi. How far away is Austria?

Great ride by Dani. He will probably go down as one of the best riders never to win a championship if he doesn't get one before retirement.

I hope Lorenzo continues to improve. That was a solid ride by him.

I'm really impressed by Zarco. I hope they give him more factory support but Yami usually doesn't do that for their satellite teams.

zarco should have the other factory bike. there is a washed up has been holding the seat hostage.

as i said if lorenzo didnt go to ducati maverick would be rotting on the suzuki.

dont give me that crap he is competitive. if it weren't for crashes he would be down 20 points on everyone. so many others can do more with that bike.
 
Until someone else can generate the money and fanatical fans that Rossi can, other riders have to sit back and wait until Rossi retires. It's about wins and revenue generated and no one brings in money like Rossi.

while i believe this 100% especially after the tech 3 boss saying his guys will not race the factory team unless they can pass without danger i believe this makes the championship less exciting.

L i will have my truck in 2 more months. pbir do you go? id like to meet up

also L what track day organization should i use legacy or tonys

I won't be surprised if he (Zarco) wins one by yr end let alone be on podiums

I was rooting for him(Lasail) before he crashed and want to see what Rossi and Maverick had to said if Zarco had won
 
Honestly, Rossi looks like he has crested the hill. I do think he is where he was last year mentally or physically. Being competitive is a state of circumstances. That being said, anything can happen. In all fairness the only way to call it is wait till its over but since the boys need their version of "Housewives" we can speculate. If everything is perfect for everyone, Rossi is not on the podium. Its that simple. If all that mattered to the bottom line for a motorcycle enterprise was having the two fastest riders then yes, Its time for Yamaha to make some changes however it is not and until the performance be it on or off track of Rossi starts to negatively effect the global sales juggernaut that his branding has created, he isn't going anywhere. So I actually agree with Mark in some respects however from a business perspective, to suggest that Yamaha is foolish for not dumping Rossi for new talent will get a stay in a padded room. Rossi is good for business however for some,he may not be the best for racing.
