I'm interested to see if anyone has had the opportunity to ride both of these. I'm looking at a used 2019 V4 s Corse and wondering if I should bother with it or just go find a 2020. I am curious to here anyone's thoughts.

I would like to know if there is a difference in seat height or width, i hear there is and the 2019 might be short rider friendly compared to the 2020?

my 2020 is TALL. You better go for a test ride... or at least sit on it and make sure u can touch.

I can’t back my 2020 up while I’m on it and I usually swing my bum off the seat to flat foot at a red light. I’m 5’9
Seat height comes in just under 34 inches with 500 miles tyre life left... plus it’s wide.

I sat on a 2020 today and I am not flat, flat footed, but pretty close. I am really interested about the changes they made to refine the 2020. I am sure an expert rider could feel the differences, but what about and every day non track rider.

The 44 teeth guys on YouTube did a good video of the differences in how the 2019 and 2020 ride and feel, in short the 2020 is more refined and easier to ride in most aspects.

yes, I watched that video, but was looking for some other inputs
.

Do love the look of the wide body and wings. ;)
Personally I like the slender lines and more angry ‘twin style‘ character of initial PV4 better.
The 2020 model is too refined for me with its flattened torque-curve and too ‘fat‘ looking bodywork with utterly useless wings for road-use, killing the refined design.
Improved heat management of 2020 model with its shark gills are functionally & nice looking too.

Nevertheless these PV4 discussions are indeed hairsplitting with - for better or worse - hardly noticeable changes if you’re riding one or the other. Especially if you’re comparing cosmetic paint schemas over fairing types between PV4‘s it’s all personal taste! ;)

May I’m too blunt but I hardly notice the few small other technical tweaks, especially on the road...

If you’re in for one, any PV4 is an attention magnet, a looker compared to rest of the world and will steal your heart riding/racing it. <3

I was able to get my seat cut down a little bit and Dave moss adjusted my sag From 10 to 40-50? I cannot remember now. I can now flat foot at red lights so I would not worry about the height imo

I was in the same predicament and I almost preferred the 2019 clean to the 2020 Wings. But in the end I went with the newer model and you can always remove wings or change fairings as others have stated if you want

I've been watching a lot of Dave Moss video, did you meet him in person or use one of his video chats?

I was actually planning to do a remote and then I saw he was going to be about an hour away so I just met up with him that week. If you are in Cali he seems To be out and about quite frequently
