Looks like Ducati pushed out the maintenance intervals for the 22s. Oil changes now at 9k mi vs 7500 and desmo service at 18k vs 15k

Looks like they dropped the annual oil change too.

I did after my track day. Likely wasn't needed at all, I just wanted to get the fairings off and check everything out. The last person to change the oil was the dealer and...meh. I trust my work more.

Its hilarious..."soft cleaning of the vehicle." Every bike I've gotten back from the dealer had oily handprints all over it.

Hm, Interesting. Both the AU and US websites list it as 12,000 for oil and 24,000km for desmo still. Maybe the site is out of date?

There's a lot of government regulatory pressure to get oil and vehicle manufacturers to justify and increase lubricating oil change intervals.
Better for the environment, yes. Better for your engine, no.
(NOT A OIL THREAD)
