Guys, I have a 2024 multi Strada RS absolutely love the bike. I’m blessed to have a couple of other Ducati’s one being a 2023V4R and a 1299 anniversary. I have a couple sets of lightweight rims that I like to switch bike to bike. One set is the march magnesium and the other is the BST’s. I decided that I was going to install the Blackstone tech wheels on the multi strata only to find out that the front offset was different and with the rotors mounted they won’t clear. Was this always been the case? I’ve had many Ducati’s and have always been able to swap the wheel sets.

I have done this in the past only to be in the same predicament.
The 1199,1299 and v4 front rotor mounting surface is 10mm wider than other bikes like the multi.
Unfortunately, this means that you can use the earlier 1098/1198 wheels on the multi and if you want to rum them on the big boy bike, you can use 5mm rotor spacers from any reputable brand.

1198SP wheels on my multi.

So someone makes a 5mm spacer for the front disks and that will allow me to install the V4 wheels a on my Multi RS?

Negative.
The multi forks are 10mm narrower.
You can run front wheels from 1098/1198 platforms without any issues.

You can run the multi wheels on the V4 with spacers.
