I just picked up the bike today. Rode 50 miles home from the dealer. I can confirm that this thing hets HOT!!!!!
Really hot and it's mostly coming from the left side. I was riding in 60 degree temp.
I hope the exhaust will reduce some of it. I had jeans on.

Have no experience with the '24 bike, but can offer this comparison. While riding Friday we got caught in 3 stoplight-cycles of standstill city traffic with air temp reading 81F on the Panigale. I saw 4 bars appear on the coolant temp, followed by the fans kicking on and bringing in back down to 3 bars all while stopped. Meanwhile my wife riding our '23 Tuono v4 saw 230F and was struggling.

Inner thighs were toasty but one must imagine sisyphus happy

Mines an 21 V4SF. This is what I did, wrapped the rear header, polished the outside of the stainless heat shield like a tea pot and sprayed white VHT header paint on the inside. Threw the left head cover away. Put heat reflective self-adhesive on the tail of the tank above the header and around the fuel pump. Lowered turn on so the fans to come on at 100C. Introduced an 8mm air gap by remounting the seat thereby allowing air flow between the tank and the seat. Tail of the tank is painted white under the seat and the seat has reflective self-adhesive tape on the underside of it too. In the end about as hot to sit on as my beltdrives. While I was doing this I carried one of those cheap IR thermometers so I could check the temps on and around the seat. Or you can just buy nomex underwear I suppose. Helps to be hanging off.
