just my 2021 V4 saturday and put about a tank full today. out running her in and am vey pleased. one question after going thru owner's manual is what is that little switch above the starter button.

thanks

I always liked riding when it was cooler out since riding when its 90F+ is miserable. I had them on my Streetfighter and rather liked them. The wide body Panigales have a little better wind protection though.

I thought my Pani V4S and SF V4S are hot... My new RSV4 Factory is so much worse. Riding yesterday, given it is central Texas, from Houston over to Austin it was around 98* F. The RSV4 would be around 175-180 running 80-90MPH. Stopped for 1 traffic light and it would go over 223*F.
Fans don't kick on until 215* Gauge starts flashing at 239* which I have seen.
Unlike the Ducati's, the Ape's don't shut down the rear bank so you have all 4 firing all the time.

Wow, that’s crazy. I’m here in central Texas too (an hour north of Austin), and I think the panigale is nearly unbearable in traffic above 90 degrees or so.

Have you had the rsv4 on track? How’s it compare to your panigale?

I haven't had it on track yet. Thinking about taking it to RR Fest @ COTA in a few weeks. Overall, the Pani is more comfortable. The rider triangle is more open and I'm 6'5, so that's a good thing. It did take 3.5 hours before my right hip started to bother me yesterday though.
Power wise, they are pretty close to the same. The RSV4 may be a little more linear. Other than that, I've only got about 1k miles on the RSV4 but they seem quite comparable in the suspension and flickability departments.

well i'll be, yall are right. i could see that what the little button, with heat level marks is for. don't believe i will need any more heat:p
thanks

i do have one more question, is there a lower seat available, I'm on my tip toes. and forget about putting down that kick stand sitting on bike.
i love this bike fo sure though. just ordered the skyrich tender and those throttle spacers for the slack.

You can try a seat from a 2018, 19 but it will not be as comfortable.
