I am just back from a 300 mile ride on my V2. Wanted to test the new exhaust and tune. I took off at 60*F with my 7.4v heated vest, and around noon at 80*F I switched to the evaporative cooling vest. Great thing about the two vests is that they take very little space when not in use. Rode from Bellevue to Lake Diablo in the North Cascades. Up in the mountain, the air was think with smoke from fires. From the Diablo outlook I could see one isolated fire on the slope. Helicopters were scooping water from the lake and hauling it up. Toward the end I wished for it to be over, but all in all, a great ride. Not much traffic and south of the mountains the air was good. This has been my longest ride on any motorcycle.
