Where it snows forever!
Because I want to keep the bike as "stock" as possible and don't want to start messing with Xenon and ballasts, I picked up some 4600K PIAA bulbs from eBay. Received in record time from one coast to another and as you can see, really match the white of the LEDs. Any "whiter" and they'd be blue.

I'm pretty tough to satisfy and this one actually made me write a recommedation so if you are looking around to throw a bit more light and match the stock LED, might be worth a try for all you 899 and base 1199 owners out there.

Ride safe... and happy 4th!

Very nice, indeed!

I went to the eBay link you provided... thank you. May I ask why you chose the Astral White over the Stratos Blue (5000K)? I am assuming that the latter would provide a tint even closer to that of the LED headlights.

I was going to get the 5000k but it seemed too blue (I mean, it's in the name)
Also, I know that the higher the K, the less light output. Since I wanted a real white as well as the most lumens possible, I chose this one.

If you want more blue, I'm sure the 5000K will do the job as well.

Glad it helped!!
