A good chain for my bike

Hey guys I just got my R and I'm looking for a really good gold chain.
Which one you recommend and what size. Also a website to get it.

On stuff like that you can order from your dealer or
Motowheels
Sportbiketrackgear
Revzilla
Etc

Also if you do the 520 get the rear and front sprocket
 
that chain is only rated to 750cc.

If you don't want to change sprockets you'll want a 525 chain.

I like the did x-ring chains. By DID site this is the size you should use:

It comes 110 links so you'll need to cut the chain to length.

With a 520 chain you will need to change sprockets to suit.

The original chain is a 525, with sprockets to suit.
For street riding a 525 will be a better solution. Unless one wants to replace chains quite often.
 
I assume 525 refers to the length of the chain?

what length is needed for an 1199 with a Ducati 41T?

525 refers the size of the links. The links on a 525 are larger then the 520. The 110 at the end of the part number refers to the amount of links for my R with 41T sprocket.

How did you get 110 links to fit when, as mentioned, the R (has 41T) needs 106 links?
