So, I had an AMA spec Penske built with the Variable Bleed valve and top out spring upgrade, and AK20 carts installed in forks. There was a minor hang up on the forks and I will be receiving them today, one day before leaving for a 12 hr trip to VIR. The bike is in pieces being assembled with a new Armour Bodies race body. I have a couple questions that answers to would save me a ton of searching. First, how much fork sticks out of the top triple at stock setting?
Second, in the front wiring harness (with the headlight wiring) is a small sensor that appears to be the same as you typically find installed in an air filter housing or intake tract. I'm assuming it went in the ram air ducting? I fabricated a fairing stay and will be doing the same for the ducting. Can anyone tell me where this originally mounted?
Thanks
Brett

No clue on your fork height but yes, the sensor has to be placed in the air intake.

Do you need a workshop manual?

Thanks for the PM Phil! I did some searching and the stock is 6mm above triple. I will get some pics and feedback about the MDM/Penske suspension next week. Might even do some rain time on the Pani saturday 100% chance of rain at VIR

no idea on the sensor but it is less than 1cm (10mm) above the triple .. It isn't flush and not enough to put a clamp on it, but it isn't much above it either.
