the track is sick... walls, no sandpits, no/short roll out zones... they wanted to imitate macau or the nuerburgring ? ;-)
 
This is one of our local tracks. Just went there last wed. I was there when this vid was shot, and actually demo'd that bike right after. The pilot is a local racer who has held the lap record a couple of times. REALLY fast guy.
 
He sure is; wouldn't happen to be the guy in that Youtube vid drifting his ass off around there would it?

Love the track, really old school. Dangerous as hell from the looks of it, which of course only makes going fast around it more awesome. ;)

Seeing this pic of the drop from T2 down through 3A & B makes that onboard all the more impressive:

Only other place to do that to me is Phillip Island when I am coming out of pit lane......Cheers for that.

He was good - you could tell that must have been the intermediate group as they were going pretty fast!! :D
Safe, courteous passing!! I can imagine what those other guys on track were thinking when he goes past them sideways!!! I can't even comprehend how to to do that. Great video - txs.
 
I find Pacific raceways to be a shady track even when racing my car on it, but i can't wait to take my pani there for the next track day :D

Great track, great rider and a nice guy too.
 
Ahh, thanks. Too bad, was looking forward to some badass Pani-drifting vids! ;)

Still fast as hell, though - watching the TC light going crazy off that drop from T2 and while wheelying over the little crest in T4, both at 130+ is impressive stuff, even if it's not sideways!
