To All My Fellow Forum Members -
It is both my honor, and true pleasure to make this announcement to you all. Fellow Member "Tube Guy" (Screen Name for being an Old School Tube TV Fan) from the Ducati.Org forum, and I have been communicating the past week and he has graciously "Courted" my pristine Tricolore, and will take possession of it before the new year!
As you all know, I have literally put my blood, sweat, tears and absolute love into this bike since purchasing new in 2012. Though it pains me deeply to part ways with this precious machine, it was more than anything - his promise to continue loving it as if it were still my own. He owns a high end HiFi shop out in California and states he will proud display it on his showroom floor when not riding it. This to me means more than any amount of money (Which I would personally like to remain between us - with all due respect to the community) However, I will obviously leave this decision up to him.
Thank you ALL so very, very much for always being such consummate professionals here. Words cannot express the level of support you have all displayed, and our mutual love for these beautiful Italian machines. I do believe that I was one of the very first Tricolore Owners here on this site when Duc created it back in 2012 - A true honor for me. I'd like to think I was of some help to the many of you here when it came to decking out your bikes with Bling, or putting you in touch with some good contacts on anything?
I suppose that my next venture will be - what to add to the long list of Ducati's I have owned in my lifetime! And so it both ends, and begins.........
Merry Christmas & All the best for 2018 folks!
Semper Fidelis,
Gunny
