Ok, I will confirm he is not a troll...just a bit confused. Here is a picture of his bike (hope you don't mind Lance). So, offer your opinions. The answer is there are few options and none of them cheap. There is an Austin Racing setup w/tune and underbelly for a good price in the classifieds.

Looks like you have an 1199. Main exhaust options are termi's, akra, and I had Austin racing on my bike. The reason I went the route I did was that they were different from the normal systems. To me they look and sound better. I feel that with any full system a tune has to be installed too, not for power gains but to help it run smoother. Any of the above full systems with a tune are gonna run you in excess of $4000.00 you can get termi slip ons for around half that, perhaps less if you buy used. As you have limited tools and experience it may be wise to let a dealer or bike mechanic do the installation for you.

If money is no object go for the one you think looks and sounds the best. Don't get too caught up in Hp numbers as pretty much everyone on here is not able to push the 1199 to it's limit. Sure, we can push them to our limits but they are usually far short of the bikes limit.

Good luck and enjoy the bike.

I hope rich chimes in on this for ld times sake :D

I'll play the role:

We stand by the ridiculous claims we've made in spite of the mountain of evidence against them. Question me and I'll try to ban you and if that doesn't work I'll threaten to sue you. Group buy anyone?:D

For street use I question the value of the exhaust upgrade. I went the full termi route with upmap on my 12 and for my 13 have & will remain stock. I think a tune w/stock exhaust to smooth it out & pick up some mid-range or core the cats out of the stockers ala Phil would be the best bang for the buck.

There is more but this will give you an idea....

This thread got even more confusing, it doesn't say 1198 on your fairing. And your name is Lance but someone posted on this thread as iamlance...jk. Ok, so now that we've confirmed you've got an 1199, if you're talking about the A&R baffle as Nitrouz pointed out then that's one thing. But JustDucky said you were looking at the Austin Racing system. If that's what you meant then read through the links that STW posted up and make your own decision.

Looks like you have a base....if it were me, and only riding street, I'd just put Termi slips on the bike and be done with it. It'll give you the sound you want and a bit up a performance uptick. And there's bound to be a bunch showing up in the classifieds once people get their Akras.

And welcome to the forum man.

KEEP IT SIMPLE : any upgrade at all: Termi EVO line ...
all the rest if you're willing to take chances on warranty and dodgy tunes..
