I've got a close relative in Wasilla, he was busting on me last week that they r riding in Alaska yet I won't ride here in Ct, the roads are covered in salt still. He keeps telling me to move...

We've had an unseasonably "warm" spring and I've been getting out as much as I can. Thankfully, they don't salt the roads here - I couldn't stand the thought of all that salt coating my bikes and car. They do spread gravel though. I rode out to Wasilla last week. Hope you'll be able to get out soon. Cheers

No need for apologies, at all! That is why we all bought Ducs; because of the they make us feel. Jap bikes are fine, and even have higher top speeds than our bikes (unless you are a fortunate owner of an 1199 R!), but you don't hear their owners talk about their bikes the way we do ours. Ducati has that Italian passion that arouses something in the heart. The design and performance are second to none. Enjoy your machine, and ride safe!
 
When. I got my 1199R new, the first ride out with a friend we did over 300 miles. It was a little difficult to walk and unkink your legs after that.....but wanted to get the break I finished ASAP.
