Hey. I have an awesome Map loaded in woolich map Share if your bike is a 1299. For a full AkR system .
Check it out .
I'm just an 1199 so I'm not sure how close it would be.
But that's another thing that I failed to mention is the fact that maps are exchangeable from others who have the Woolich set up. They do have a library with various bikes and configurations. Wow I kind of sound like I work for Woolich... But no I don't , not associated with them at all. I just think they have a good product and have met my needs pretty well.

Akra is the way

We run extension harness's so the tanks can be on the bench while running the bikes makes it easy to diagnose stuff and look inside the airbox while bike is running.

I don’t .... w Akra but my guess is that the cans needed repacking and didn’t get it

The packing is what prevents the exterior from coming into direct contact with the hot gasses

I would be more concerned with how it leaks down tho

Beautiful thing about that bike is you really don’t even need a tester

Just pull the tank and look in the airbox : )

Pretty sure there are bunch of 1299 maps in the mapshare? There was only a couple for the 1199R I believe I loaded one up long time ago for stock velocity stack height/Full Akra Evo exhaust.

I also have a 1199S map loaded , it's pretty good .
Good thing about woolich users we can all share maps .

Yeah for the most part it helps with the folks that don't have the widebands or logbox. All my stuff inside the airbox is not stock and different velocity stacks so my current maps won't be of any help to anyone.

What map does woolich have for 12.5:1 2014 R combo with one off WSBK exhaust system and a sealed up opened up MWR ram air tube fed air box w custom diverter?

Oh, with the crankcase gases vented to the atmosphere instead of being regurgitated thru the motor

???

Probably won't find a map but anything would be better then the factory map its absolutely horrible.

Just spend the $1100 get the log box package with the wideband sensors so you can tune the bike. Spend the additional $500 for the strain guage shifter its a must have.

Which shifters have you tried?

How few ms have ya got away with?

Jamadera sorry for the thread jack. It seems this has evolved from the discoloration thread to a OEM modified exhaust/ Woolich thread.

Any way you can take at least one pic of the full bike from the side when not on the lift? Id like to see how it looks like that with cylinder heads exposed like that. Might be doing the same. TIA

Here you go.

I tried running no plastic cylinder covers on the street

Big mistake for me at this age

I do like it a bit better with out them. No issues with the heat. Yes I can feel it a bit but its not that big of a deal.
Now to be fair, my bike is a toy, not a commuter bike and getting stuck in traffic for me is maybe 1 minute at a traffic light before moving again. I ride out to the playground and back with no real traffic to speak of. It might be a different story if I were sitting for a prolonged period of time.

Sounds like you have it figured out . [emoji106]

Those look sweet Phil

Is there a tube going each direction and a 180° bend inside when you are thru with em or what does the inside look like?

this mod level contained no extra parts, only removed cats and opened passages
