I have the termi slip-on's installed already. I wonder how the up-map would work with the akra...

Hmm...

Wouldn't bother if you have slips. Mine with slips was making 172rwhp with no additional tune other than the upmap, on another dyno they've seen high 180s.

13 ft lbs of trq at 5100 is a very nice gain, you won't really feel the hp increase but you'll definitely feel the trq increase which is what we're all after!

Very nice.

Damn that's a big difference. This would void warranty though right?

Drops 10lbs? Boom that's the best exhaust out IMO.

It would only void the warranty if you used an aftermarket fuel controller like a piggyback (PCV or Bazzaz) or a ECU flash (Tuneboy, ECUnleashed, etc.). It depends on your dealer also.

My question would be what, if any, fuel mods were there for this dyno run. Typically, Akrapovic publishes dyno runs with OEM fueling, so there is potential for even more gains with appropriate fuel mods. I would love to see this with an MWR Race Air Filter and fuel mods tuned on an eddy current dyno back-to-back with an OEM exhaust, then Akra with no mods run to see the gains at each step.

The instructions look magnificent. And one can imagine the combination of the 41T with the akro monster midrange

Im sick of hearing about this really. I bought the thing back in jan and I had to get a refund because its taking so long to come out.

They better not delay it beyond summer

As far I've been told, it's already available. At least in Europe.

What I really would like to see, was Full Termi Vs Full Akra on the same Dyno on the same day.

I think the results would be pretty similar. This exhaust looks sweet, but for me I'll still keep my full termi on the R.

I bet the akro saves another 5lbs more than the termis. Besides that you are probably right.

Yes, you're right on the weight. Akras headers are made of titanium, so they have advantage on the weight. And I'm sure those headers will look gorgeous when they turn bluish.

for anyone buying this please do post results before and after....
stock vs full akra

please dont just get dyno result of your after result as you 1st need your stock results to compare the true improvement..
